On September 26, 2025, Rich Packing, a professional manufacturer deeply engaged in the pharmaceutical and packaging machinery sector, successfully completed the shipment of a custom-developed capsule counting and bottling line for its U.S. client. As the core equipment for the client to expand its local pharmaceutical packaging business, the smooth delivery not only demonstrates our company's technological strength in the R&D and production of pharmaceutical packaging machinery but also highlights our meticulous attention to detail throughout long-distance transportation. From equipment manufacturing to transportation packaging, every link is centered on the client's interests, with a commitment to providing safe and efficient pharmaceutical equipment solutions for global clients. This is also the key reason why we have long maintained a leading position in the industry and become a partner of Fortune 500 enterprises.
The capsule counting packing line tailored for the U.S. client is a core piece of equipment developed based on the client's production scale, product specifications, and stringent industry standards such as the U.S. FDA and cGMP. Integrating full-process automated functions including counting, filling, sealing, and labeling, the production line adopts high-precision photoelectric sensing technology. The counting error rate can be controlled within 0.02%, and it achieves a maximum efficiency of 4,000 bottles of capsules per hour.
Given the precision structure of pharmaceutical equipment and the need for multiple transportation links (including sea and land transport), Rich Packing has developed a seven-layer protective packaging system to ensure the production line remains intact during long-distance transportation, building a comprehensive safety barrier for this high speed capsule counting and bottling line from the inside out.
First, we wrap the equipment with three layers of eco-friendly film, each serving a specific purpose:
- Moisture-proof layer: Effectively isolates the internal components of the capsule counting machine line from external moisture, preventing malfunctions of electronic parts caused by humidity.
- Dust-proof layer: Blocks dust that may be generated during transportation from entering the equipment, avoiding contamination.
- Wear and scratch-resistant layer: Protects the equipment's surface coating and markings from scratches or abrasions during handling.
Notably, all films comply with U.S. FDA hygiene standards, fully adapting to the application scenarios of pharmaceutical equipment.
After the film wrapping, we perform overall vacuum sealing on the automatic capsule counting machine using professional vacuum packaging machines. By completely removing air and moisture, this step not only prevents the metal components of the equipment from oxidizing and rusting during long-distance transportation but also avoids microbial growth in humid environments, ensuring the equipment meets the hygiene requirements for pharmaceutical production immediately after unpacking.
To address issues of jolting and displacement during transportation, we have customized a high-density pine wooden base for the production line. The dimensions of the base are strictly designed according to the equipment's shape, and its load-bearing capacity is three times the weight of the equipment—preventing deformation due to insufficient load-bearing during transportation. For fixation, we use stainless steel screws to firmly connect the equipment to the base, with double-screw fastening installed at each stress point, completely eliminating the risk of equipment displacement on the base.
High-density anti-collision foam is filled between the equipment and the wooden base, as well as at the protruding parts of the equipment exterior. The foam is custom-cut to perfectly fit the equipment's shape, with a thickness of 5 cm, which can effectively absorb vibrations and impact forces generated during transportation.
Considering that the corners of the pharmaceutical packaging machine are most vulnerable to collision damage during handling and loading/unloading, we have installed high-strength plastic corner protectors on both the wooden cases and the protruding corners of the equipment itself. These corner protectors are manufactured using a one-piece molding process, featuring excellent impact resistance—they disperse the impact force on the corners to a larger area, preventing damage to the wooden cases or deformation of the equipment's corners. Meanwhile, the surface of the corner protectors is smooth and burr-free, avoiding scratches to the equipment or packaging materials during transportation.
After completing the internal protection, the equipment is placed into custom-made solid wood cases, which are then fully reinforced with straps. The straps are cross-wrapped horizontally and vertically around the cases, with a spacing of less than 20 cm between each strap, and the joints are secured with specialized buckles. This reinforcement method effectively prevents the wooden cases from cracking due to vibration or extrusion during transportation, providing solid external protection for the equipment.
When loading the wooden cases into containers, we firmly connect the cases to the fixing points on the inner walls of the containers. Each wooden case is equipped with at least 4 fixing points, ensuring there is no room for movement of the cases inside the container and fundamentally reducing the risk of collision during transportation.
